1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing ResumeCheck.io ("the Platform"), creating an account, or downloading any file, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ResumeCheck.io ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. User data collection

By registering on our Platform, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of:

Your name, email address, and mobile phone number
Resume content you upload or paste for analysis
Usage data including pages visited, downloads, and actions taken
Device information, browser type, and IP address

This data is stored securely and used to provide and improve our services.

3. Commercial communications — your express consent

      Important: By registering and/or downloading any file from ResumeCheck.io, you expressly consent to receive promotional, commercial, and marketing communications from us and our commercial partners via email and SMS/WhatsApp to the contact details you provide.
    

These communications may include but are not limited to:

Career tips, resume writing advice, and job search guidance
Promotional offers from online learning platforms (Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, etc.)
Resume writing and career coaching services
Job board and internship platform promotions
Interview preparation tools and courses
Any other career-related product or service we believe may benefit you

We may share your email address and phone number with carefully selected third-party partners for the purpose of sending you relevant commercial offers. These partners are contractually required to comply with applicable data protection laws.

Confirm that the resume content belongs to you or you have rights to share it
Understand that resume content may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our AI models

We do not store personally identifiable resume content longer than necessary to provide the service.

6. Free service and advertising

ResumeCheck.io is provided free of charge. The Platform is funded through advertising revenue (Google AdSense and direct advertisers) and affiliate commissions earned when users purchase products or services through links on our Platform. By using the free service, you acknowledge and accept this business model.

7. Intellectual property

Resume templates available for download are provided for personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the templates. All Platform content, branding, and software remain the property of ResumeCheck.io.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The AI resume analysis is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees that following our suggestions will result in employment. ResumeCheck.io is not liable for any employment outcomes, lost opportunities, or damages arising from use of the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
